    • Weekly classes with your teacher (excluding public and Victorian school holidays)
    • Makeups for missed classes or classes that fall on public holidays (up to four per trimester & subject to availability)
    • A new, themed song collection each trimester in high res digital audio, with a CD to play in the car and a beautifully illustrated songbook
    • Music and your Child – parents guidebook, musical growth chart , egg shaker and Rhythm Tree tote bag 
    • Discounts for siblings and for families doing two+ classes (see details right) 
    • Exclusive access to resources on the Hello Everybody App and Family Music Zone
    • Access to our vibrant online community – The Family Tree House
    • Recorded and live videos from our teachers offering musical crafts, songs, drumming games, lullabies, musical story times, learn-to-play tutorials and scavenger hunts!

Indoor classes

    • Siblings under nine months attend for free
    • Morning Mixed Age Family classes or Rhythm Kids: $40 off monthly
      ie. pay $54 monthly / $216 per trimester
    • Afternoon family classes: $60 off monthly
      ie. pay $34 monthly / $135 per trimester

Outdoor/Online classes

    • Siblings attend for free
Discounts for families attending more than one class

For families who attend a second class in the same program (ie. two Mixed Age classes) and for families who attend two or more classes in different programs (ie. children from one family attend a Mixed Age Family and a Rhythm Kids class)

  • $20 off monthly per family 
  • $40 off monthly per family, if one or more class is online

Our teachers

Gillian

With over 30 years’ experience in education as a teacher, music specialist, teacher trainer, consultant and adviser, Gillian established The Rhythm Tree, Australia's largest Music Together® centre over a decade ago. As the director of the centre, Gillian is passionate about bringing the joy of music to families.

Claire

Claire loves singing songs with Rhythm Tree families every week! Before moving to Australia and starting a family, she worked as an actor and a singer/songwriter. She released two albums and toured with her band playing venues and festivals. Her music has been used in both film and theatre.

Matilda

With a jazz guitarist as a father, Matilda grew up singing and performing. Her love of music led her to a Bachelor of Performing Arts and a career in voice work, TV and early childhood education. Matilda is passionate about sharing music with families and is also a Rhythm Tree teacher trainer and mentor.

Rebecca

Rebecca is a Registered Music Therapist and music educator with qualifications in education support and Auslan. Rebecca believes in the capacity of music to nurture development in early childhood. She loves supporting meaningful family connections through shared musical experiences. She also teaches Rhythm Kids for 4-8 year olds.

Sarah N

A pianist and singer from New York City, Sarah joined the Rhythm Tree in 2012. She is an energetic, bubbly teacher with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and ten years experience teaching early childhood music. Sarah released two independent albums in the U.S. and performs her own music in Melbourne.

Sophie

Sophie’s love of music led her to become a singer-songwriter, recording and performing original music under the name Little Wise since 2012. She has released three EPs and two acclaimed albums. She has toured nationally, performing at festivals and supporting artists such as The Audreys. She is also a social worker and a mum.

Jenna

Jenna’s earliest memories involve being surrounded by joyful music at home and in the wider community. As a mother and a musician with 20 years of performance experience, she believes in the importance of building musical memories with children and community, and creating strong connections with people through music.

Sally

Sally is a passionate singer, songwriter and performer. She has an Advanced Diploma of Music Performance and is part of renowned a cappella trio Aluka, who write and perform experimental vocal music and support artists like Missy Higgins and Clare Bowditch. Since having two children Sally has discovered a love of teaching.

*Prices include weekly classes, 3 song collections each year in CD and digital form, beautifully illustrated songbooks, exclusive online content including videos and Facebook lives, a family ticket to a special event each trimester plus new family materials including egg shaker, Rhythm Tree bag, parent’s guidebook and musical growth chart.

Direct debit date is the 3rd of every month.

Enrolment is on-going.

Families have the option to opt-out near the end of each trimester; in the last week of April, the last week August, and the second week of December (for the following year).
